CCI dramatically improves speed and accuracy by eliminating the need for handwritten collection information when money is counted, as well as maintaining individual machine and route totals for reconciliation by your ticket data entry personnel.
Features:
Bar-code reader scans route tickets
for error proof cash tracking
Supports most popular Coin counters
with RS 232 Interface
Paperless Operation
Easy Reconciliation of Bank Deposits
Cashier's Audit Reports
Separate Cash Entry and
Meter Entry Functions
Here's How it Works:
The host computer prints a route ticket for each machine on the driver's route. The route slip contains a printed bar code ID number that includes an individual account and machine identification. When the driver services each machine the coins are emptied into the bag, along with the perforated portion of the printed RMS Route Ticket, and returned to the money room, as usual.
In the money room the operator follows the normal procedures ofng each bag and counting it separately. Instead of the detailed paperwork of writing down each collected amount by hand, the operator uses a bar-code reader to scan the coded ID number of the route slip in the bag. The coin counter then counts the coin and currency, and reports an amount to the host computer.
Ticket Entry personnel access the CCI Cash Entry Files to provide accompanying inventory fill and meter reading information, to balance each machine. When tickets are posted, CCI generates reports and provides all cash, meter and fill information to RMS for posting.
Functions:
CCI Coin Counter Interface supports most popular coin and currency counters with RS 232 serial interfaces.
Paperless operation provides more system control and reduces errors.
Money room personnel no longer manually enter route numbers, currency amounts, etc., by hand, making every aspect of your cash counting operation cleaner, more accountable, and secure.
Money room labor is significantly reduced, because operator will be able to process cash faster. Tracking the cash received is easier using a bar-code reader instead of writing down information by hand, thereby reducing money room labor costs.
The money room operator knows only the coin and cash amounts. He has no access to the meter reading information taken by the driver. Meter readings are entered into the host computer in separate data entry functions. This blind operation of two separate data entry functions insure that no temptation is present in the cash counting process.
Easy Reconciliation of Bank Deposits. CCI Coin Counter interfaces print clear and understandable cashier's audit reports, deposits, and amounts for comparison to banking reports.
The Cashier's audit report feature reports cash ready for posting, and indicates missing bags. It shows complete customer and machine ID numbers and lists variables like extra bags, handwritten tickets and bags with missing ID numbers, in a clear and concise report format.
