When brand name detail is considered, the average Vending or Office Coffee operator may stock a thousand or more items in their warehouse, at any given time. Product control forms can be bulky, difficult to read and time consuming to enter and verify. DVW/Vending Warehouse Manager uses hand-held computers and laser bar-code reading technology to capture and verify inventory movements at the source. Working in conjunction with either RMS/Route Management System or DMS/Office Coffee Manager, DVW provides the accuracy and convenience of computerized product tracking for rock solid warehouse control.

The day's wastes and product returns are verified and entered, and the next service day's product is ordered. When finished, the driver or warehouse supervisor generates a printout for physical verification and signature. Each Hand-held computer holds all transactions until orders are picked, packed, certified and delivered. Each step can be checked and verified through the hand-held. When ready, the warehouse supervisor downloads daily transactions to the host computer to be posted to ths RMS or DMS system software. The result is a dramatic improvement in inventory control and accountability, with a minimum of effort for even the busiest warehouse operations. Functions:
